Network Files Shares

NCIBI file shares are now online. These shares are served by the recently purchased ONStor network attached storage devices and provide regularly backed-up storage space for NCIBI staff and researchers.

Virus Protection

VPN

The network at Palmer Commons sits behind a firewall and requires a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection in order for outside computers/users to connect to its computers and services. We have created a tutorial for connecting Windows users to the Palmer Commons VPN. For assistance connecting a Linux or Mac computer to the Palmer Commons VPN, please contact ccmb-help@umich.edu.
